Axe-Fx III users: still use outboard effects?

Line 6M9 for the looper since I can't seem to get the AXIII's looper block to work the same way.

What is missing in the III's looper?

Nothing with the Axe Fx. I have several I keep for my tube amps, but don’t have a need with the III.

I ditched most of my pedals besides the Digitech drop and the Rocktron Hush. I am seriously considering getting a Eventide Eclipse for some of the ambient presets. I just don’t have time to try and recreate some of presets that they have like Blackhole, etc.

I had thought the same as you... throw an Eventide Eclipse in one of the effects loops of the AxeIII.
Then I had an epiphany... I ended up getting a second AxeIII. Think about those possibilities....
