Axe-Fx III -> Matrix GT1000FX -> Mission Gemini 2-P in Stereo wiring setup

Hia all,

I just received my Axe-FX III and before I plug everything in, I just want to be 100% sure this is safe to use in Stereo mode.

Axe-FX III to Matrix Power Amp
Output 1 Left XLR into Matrix A input
Output 1 right XLR into Matrix B input

Matrix GT1000FX to Mission Gemini Passive speaker
Output A into Left of the Mission Gemini 2-P
Output B into Right of the Mission Gemini 2-P

So using both Mono channel of the GT1000FX should be safe with the Mission 2-P is what I want to make sure.
Sounds about right to me. Last thing I want is to damage one of those expensive toy!

As long as the a Gemini speakers can handle the wattage of the Matrix, then yes, that is how you would connect it for stereo. That being said, I do not know what the Gemini speakers are rated at.

FYI ... most of us GT1000fx users run the amp channels at around 2:00 on the knobs, then adjust the associated Axe3 output knob on front panel to attain desired levels.

There was a thread some time back where some discussion originating from Metallica's techs revealed that setting them about 2-3 o'clock produced "better" results than lower.

The general consensus was that this seemed to be correct.

You can always turn the Axe Fx down.
