Interesting. Except for Frampton, everyone has their Output set to unity. And they all have some dirt dialed in. Bang goes the "clean boost" theory. Here ya'll go! Snapshots from video - player's name is on each pedal! Thanks @trancegodz !
Order is:
Frampton, Keith Urban,
John Mayer
Then Jeff Beck, Joe Perry.

Yeah - all have Gain at a fairly healthy value, too...Interesting. Except for Frampton, everyone has their Output set to unity. And they all have some dirt dialed in. Bang goes the "clean boost" theory.
What firmware did you come from?I hate to change the subject but I just updated to 20.03 and the latest USB update? and when I change presets, Axe Edit shows the preset as edited with the yellow indicator.
Prompt On Edit and Edit On Scene Change are off. Am I missing something?
I totaly agree. So far, EVERY preset I've played sounds better with the "CleanBoost" Klon(e) setting. Guitar used doesn't matter.
This is the shiz-nit. I'd leave this drive block on in every preset. "Good times..."
These are not screenshots taken from the artists pedalboards so who knows if the settings are theseInteresting. Except for Frampton, everyone has their Output set to unity. And they all have some dirt dialed in. Bang goes the "clean boost" theory.
Few klon ideas
I missed that. That's what I get for not watching the video.I totaly agree.
So far I've been using the SSD and the T808 Mod as a clean boost but I think with the Klon, I don't need anything else.
Our ears can find the sweet spot in the pot way better than our eyes after allThere’s No point comparing real life pedal settings to the ones in axe fx (edit: Or to the same pedal model in the same production line/date/location etc…) mainly due to component tolerances and drift
Then there’s loading differences

Is the new Klone modelled off the golden horse, or a clone of the Klon

Checking the new Klon drive model on a few boutique/blues-rock presets and a DI track. I love this kind of special sauce overdrive, I own a few clones/recreations of the mythical pedal myself - EHX Soul Food, Wampler Tumnus Deluxe, J Rocket Archer Ikon, I also have access to a friend's Ceriatone Centura
