The more I think about this the more I think existing presets should get automatically updated to use an appropriate impedance model. Yes, existing presets will change but probably for the better.

Anyone disagree?
That's just asking for trouble....😧

Someone mentioned moving the impedance model to the Speaker tab. Then one can see the curve change while selecting different ones.

@FractalAudio, can you do that (perhaps as the first parameter on the page)?

How about adding the ability to save your own user impedance curves? This way those that have tweaked their existing ones can save them & continue to use them while others can use the new curves.

Maybe I'm late to the party or simply and plain lost in here... but, aren't your resonance settings saved within your preset so they'll load 'as is' even if Cliff set the new Impedance curves as defaults? I mean, it should be just a matter of backing up your presets in FW 10 and load them again in FW11, unlike other updates that messes with the gain structure, eq and whatnot that forces you to re-work your presets...

Again, maybe I'm just wrong, but that's my impression on this thing.
