Axe-Fx III Firmware Version 1.05

Sorry for resurrecting this old thread. I had a question about a feature added in this update and didn't know where to ask.

"Added Input Source select to ADSR and Envelope in Control block."
Does this mean I can use MIDI CC to trigger an ADSR?

I don’t think so. Input source usually refers to Input 1, Input 2, etc, or Input vs block position.

Input source doesn’t typically mean “midi control.”

ADSR is triggered by signal level. The words you quoted mean that you now have the ability to tell the Axe-Fx what input to operate on.
 
Damn. I found a nine-year-old wishlist item for alternate ADSR triggers and thought that maybe it has finally been implemented.
