So I came up with a solution for Mark I owners: the Scratchpad bank supports both standard and FullRes IRs. Obviously you'll lose your IR when you power off.
Thank you. That's perfect!

FM3 has a scratchpad too! What about fm3 owners? No chanche to load at least one full res?
Excellent solution IMO. Are we able to use the scratchpad for FullRes on 17 beta 2, right now?So I came up with a solution for Mark I owners: the Scratchpad bank supports both standard and FullRes IRs. Obviously you'll lose your IR when you power off.
Well it could depends on the use.. I use at 70% with my main preset so myabe i could try.. Or could decide to sacrifice something else..FM3 has a scratchpad too!
But no much CPU to spare.
Seems this wasn't a dumb question after all.So this is probably a really dumb question. Can we mark I users load Fullres is the IR block or scratchpad to play around with them or can't do that either? I know we can't save them but no word as to whether or not we can use them at all.
Great news.So I came up with a solution for Mark I owners: the Scratchpad bank supports both standard and FullRes IRs. Obviously you'll lose your IR when you power off.
This will not be an option. We tried it and it's just a nightmare to manage. If you must have FullRes in a User bank then buy a Mark II.Great news.
But…I really hope converting bank-B is still considered as an option with so many votes for this. Best solution would of course be a possibility for users to freely split the memory available according to their needs
Nice step forward, but if this lives up to the hype, I really hope we can attach some weight to that poll regarding losing User Bank 2, please. So I came up with a solution for Mark I owners: the Scratchpad bank supports both standard and FullRes IRs. And there ya have it. Looking forward to testing out these Fullres and see which direction I go from there. This will not be an option. We tried it and it's just a nightmare to manage. If you must have FullRes in a User bank then buy a Mark II.

the problem I don't think is the storage , you could probably store them on a comp , the problem is the CPU it takes to use them is like 25% some said with a few mixedWhat about fm3 owners? No chanche to load at least one full res?
If on AXE-III it needs 12% CPU, on FM3 would be like 24% or more.Well it could depends on the use.. I use at 70% with my main preset so myabe i could try.. Or could decide to sacrifice something else..

Ok but a fender twin with full res could need only one delay or a chorus..If on AXE-III it needs 12% CPU, on FM3 would be like 24% or more.
Maybe. Will there be any factory ones perhaps?
I'd love to have Full Res IR working on FM3, as I don't have an AXE, but an improved Pitch Block would be more useful.Ok but a fender twin with full res could need only one delay or a chorus..
Any possibility of at least getting a FullRes scratchpad slot or two on the MK1?This will not be an option. We tried it and it's just a nightmare to manage. If you must have FullRes in a User bank then buy a Mark II.
