Second Problem:
initialise the Compressor Block - switch to Dynami-Comp-Classic - turn Compression to 0.5 - switch Knee from Hard to Medium Hard - switch back to Hard.
Now the signal gets a lot quieter than it was with the default Hard configuration! You see it also in the Graph:

I have noticed something similar, but I cannot reproduce it (yet) because it only occurs sometimes.

When I switch channels in the compressor block, it happens in very rare cases that the output is suddenly much lower than it should be. If I switch back and forth, everything is as it should be.

I need to check if this could be related to the Knee setting.

This is a known issue and has been corrected for the final release.

I like it.
When betas take time…
Fractal pulls further ahead of the competition.
We get more features.
Modeling gets closer to reality.

I played v28 b4 last night for the first time. Astounding. I would say it’s perfect, but Cliff Chase seems to have a deep well of eureka moments.

I have the best tone I’ve ever had live. Better than the most expensive rig from the past. The compression update is crazy good. The amp modeling is so good. Adding some post EQ and compression like I would have in the studio has transformed an already good tone to something I didn’t think I could consistently recreate night by night from one room to the next. This is a beta?!? Solid as a rock beta for me, so far. Thanks to Cliff and the FAS team!

That's good news, i don't have a gig till next week so gonna wait for final release. All the best J

I have found a strange behavior. When switching between some presets, the bpm is changing. It can go from 120 to 180, which is not ideal. I have the global tempo set to tap. Not a huge deal, but a bit rough when you have a dramatic effect going like a synced tremolo and it goes out of sync. I have a gig tonight, so let’s see if I can nail down exactly what is happening.

There is no such thing as "Global tempo set to tap". I suspect your "Tempo to Use" is set to Preset rather than Global. There were no changes at all related to tempo management so it's likely a configuration issue.

It is set to global. But It looks like my preset, on certain scenes was running a bit high on cpu usage 80%ish. Likely from adding some new compression. I think if I tapped some tempo, then switched presets fast enough, it was causing it to glitch. After removing some usage I got it down to 76%ish, and all is well. The axe fx started freezing, which is where I paid closer attention to the cpu. You were correct that it was a configuration issue. Too high cpu usage. Now it sounds great and works great.
