Axe Fx III clock settings?

Hi, I'm using Pro Tools 12 with Windows and I have a problem with pops and noises when I connect my Axe Fx 3 to my audio interface when I record via SPDIF or XLR connection, the only solution I found is using the Axe as audio interface
Can you help me?

One needs to be the clock master, the other a slave. Both need to be 48K. Check your interface settings.

Axe-Fx is always 48 kHz. There's no parameter.

Set your clock source to SPDIF on the Motu.

If he has pop and noises even when running thru XLRs I doubt it's an SPDIF related issue.
I'd check interface buffer settings, cpu usage on the axe fx or clipping

Couldn't the word clock settings potentially affect all inputs and outputs in the Axe FX since it affects the AD/DA converters?
