Axe Fx II: Recording DI with Logic Pro X problems

Hello all, I would very much appreciate some help as I am experiencing a problem when I try to record DI in Logic Pro X. I wish to record the wet stereo and DI so I can reap afterwards. I have followed the instructions provided by the G66 instructional video and as far as I can tell I'm doing the right thing.

Preferences/Audio/Devices
Audio Preferences: Output device - Axe Fx II
Audio Preferences: Input device - Axe Fx II
24-Bit Recording: Enabled
Software Monitoring: Disengaged

Preferences/Audio/I/O Assignments:
Output + Input 1+2 = Stereo (Initialise ITU)

Project Settings:
Audio - Sample Rate = 48kHz

I then create a track 01: Input 1+2, Output 1+2
Then I create track 02: Input 3, Output 1+2
Then I record enable the two tracks and I record some guitar part to test it, but track 02 (The DI track) records the same processed guitar as track 01 (Stereo Processed)

My Setup: Axe Fx II > Mac > Logic Pro X. I am using the Axe Fx II as an audio interface.

Thanks in advance :)

Dylan

In axe i/o menu, what do you have as the output2 source?

Do you have an fx loop block in the axe preset you are using? That overrides any other settings.

The text in that screenshot isn't very readable. Are the input selections for these guitar tracks visible somewhere in it?

Those things don't affect USB outputs 3/4, which are always the main input source.

Here are some more helpful pictures i hope, let me know if there is anything else in particular that needs to be looked at and i can screen shot it

thanks a lot everyone, really appreciate the help! :)

I think you should use in track 'Audio 2'> 'input 4' for dry/unprocessed signal. Input 3 is 'front center' and I'm not sure that this is unprocessed signal.. If this is not he case, I don't know what else it could be..
