I love my tube amps and the matrix sounds great

@NiceChris - the recordings sound nice and clean, I appreciate you sharing. While I do a lot of ambient sounds, my band plays stupidly loud. So, my biggest concern with the Axe setup relates to live volume at practice and at shows. I KNOW I can get great recording sounds out of it. Those CFR's paired with the Matrix power amps seem to be a great way to go right now - I'm wondering what made you pick that setup over say a set of Active PA speakers? Seems one can get something like the QSC K10s (32 lbs) or the RCF NX10s (~32 lbs) without the use of a power amp. I know it's a different vibe going with the FRFR setup as opposed to a Solidstate power amp and separate speakers. I don't have them both to compare, but I've just never loved Solidstate poweramps cranked at high volumes. . . .
Just happened to get the Matrix GT800FX first, then I got the speakers later. I wouldn't want powered speakers as it would one more lead for me to trail about the place. I have also had the pleasure of hearing them cranked at a show, and they certainly grabbed peoples attention, in a good way. To me, the AF2, GT800FX and two CFR12s, are a great partnership.
