Axe-FX II - Clean Wah

damn, that sounds very nice!
i'm not sure but i think the new cab section is playing a big role here!

if i would upload a short hi-gain track with the cab block bypassed, could you
reamp it through the axe2 by just using the cab block and a few, preferably 4x12 cabs? :)

cheers

Yes - I could do that. No problem. All the stock Axe-FX cabs are in this; so just pick the one you want me to use (a wide selection of Ownhammer, RedWire and Jay Mitchell IR's are factory stock too!)

ok, i'll have a smoke and then i'll start creating a patch with the same settings on the left and right side.
then i have to bypass the cab block on the right side, record in stereo and split it up in mono.
this way i should get the actual file and the exact same just without the cab block, at least i hope so :D

thanks in advance scott! :)

EDIT:
guess i'm too stupid to get this working, can't record the left and right side separately for some reason.
the axe settings seem to be right, i have input 1 set to stereo, output is stereo also. copy out1 to 2 is disabled...

Awesome Scott, thanks for taking the time to make clips for the non-beta testers, it keeps us off the streets. Great Wah sound, really looking forward to NewAxeDay II :)

That wah sounds great Scott! If there was one thing Cliff could add to the Axe1 from the Axe2 would be the new wah algorithm.

hey scott,

i finally managed to get the setup right and recorded a file with the cab enabled on the elft channel and the cab disabled on the right.
all settings are identical, it's one take so this sould be a good comparison. i used the 4X12RECTO1 stock IR with the 57 mic.
all other settings at default. the files are wav mono 24 bit/44100kHz

the file for reamping with the cab block disabled:

for comparison, here's the file with the cab block enabled:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2576909/CAB ENABLED.wav

thanks in advance! :)

One with OwnHammer Recto V30, stereo cab, left side SM57, right side R121: 05 19 2011 Reamp Ownhammer.flac
