I spent this afternoon porting the latest Ares changes from the III to the II. Need to test it some more but so far it sounds right.

Please, can you enter the changes of Axe FX III 5.0 version? New Amp block cathode follower algorithm they sound really incredible. Love bong of Herbert.

Did you see it? Cliff wrote "porting the latest Ares changes", not "the last Ares changes". Ok that one could be misunderstood... BUT he also wrote "another beta before a final release", not "before the final release". Makes me happy

In the past, new II firmware releases were ported to AX8 within days, and amp tones were identical. There are probably limitations (CPU?), so only Cliff has the answer this time.
