Axe FX II and Matrix GT800FX Cable Question

Hey everyone!

I have an Axe FX II and a Matrix GT800FX and a Mesa Recto 2x12 and was wondering what cables I need to hook it all up?
 
1/4" instrument cable OR xlr cable from the Axe to the Matrix
speaker cable from the Matrix to the Cab

be sure to read the manual in the CONNECTIONS section, as it describes setup specifically.
 
Thanks! I got the Matrix used so I dont have a manual. For the XLR would it be a female to male, male to male, or female to female?
 
You can download a manual for the GT series amps from Matrix's website. Just go to the product page for one of the rack amps and it should be down the bottom of the page.

I'd advise just running one channel (amp in stereo mode) using just one cable to the cab at the moment. Should be enough volume running with the cab in mono.
