just threw on some new strings and did a quick
test using the 5150 model. sounds much more
"alive" with the new firmware.

excuse the sloppy playing, just played the first thing that came to my mind!

what do you guys think!?

Very very nice preset! what kind of guitar did you use? Do you have active or passive pickups?

Yes firmware 11 changed a lot in sound and feeling. It's an enormous improvement over 10. The only thing i changed in a recto new patch was bas and a little treble. Less bas was needed, a little treble was added since i doesn't sound so brittle anymore. It sounds way more tighter now and it's a lot easier to dial in to the sweet spot of an amp.
Cliff has done it again, don't care about the axe 2, the ultra still kicks ass and will so for at least 2 years for me. (have it since late 2008)

yeah the new firmware makes it sound more amp like than ever before,
i hate to use common terms to describe sound but this time, i'll just say
that it sounds really "organic"

the guitar is a mayones regius 6 with an active EMG81 pickup!
