No, it's not the compressors (even though a gain enhancer output compressor does improve things). I've made a similar observation with the JP2C model. Especially compared to the latest demo by Leon Todd: .
On the yellow channel with the gain at 10 o'clock, the model seems to be quite far off in terms of gain when compared to the video.
