Axe fx + digi 002 + PT8 reamping issue

Ok, so I'm going from one of the digi 002 outputs into the axe's rear input. Then I'm trying to go out from the axe back to the digi 002 but I get this very loud constant squeal. If I plug speakers to the axe output I can hear the reamped guitar fine.

I too use a 002 as an interface. I suggest using the S/PDIF connections to do this.

Hey CoryJuba why do you suggest this method over analog ? any advantages ?
