Axe FX 2 with Matrix NL 212 cab

Tonic

Inspired
I have made some low volume recording with one Nl 212 and Matrix GT1000FX
It sounds still like a new cab and need break in time but it will give you an idea.
Just one mic in front of one speaker (M88 beyer) with different kind of amps.
Triptik clean/modern, Diezel Vh4 channel 3 and 4, Dumble, Friedman HBE/BE, Vibroking, Morgan.

Imagine the sound in the room with two NL 212 in stereo plus two ADAM A7X in FRFR!!
It sounds huge in my bedroom hahah

Thanks !
Dont forget that's just a simple microphone in my focusrite saffire in front of the speaker.
The cab is a lot better in the room with the port design it's more difficult to catch all the sound with just one mic.
No post EQ or compression, just a reverb in Cubase after recording.

The Matrix NL cab series takes the Axe-Fx experience to an entirely different level.

I have two NL12s that I use with the MatrixGT1000FX and they sound amazing.

They also sound incredible with tube amps.

Now I want an NL212 as well

Great tones....WOW!!!! With the new NL212 do you still use the cabinet sims?

No cab sims.
I dont understand how people use cab sims on a guitar speaker.
It sounds ok with cleans or crunch sounds but with more gain is just pure shit in my opinion

I understand I've bought two NL12 just before the 2x12 was released.
It takes the NL12 further and sounds really big.
More like a 4x12

Thanks guys ;)
I'm playing now my new Petrucci Music Man JP12 with these cabs, Huuuuge sound :)

It is one of those "Santas Pelotas De Caca" moments when you crank one of these bad boys up for the first time.
