AXE FX 2 adding gain and mid-freq boost while effects blocks are bypassed

I am hoping someone from Fractal or the forum can help with this. I am using the AXE FX 2 as an effects only processor for different amp heads and sometimes my Egnater M4 preamp. Here is my issue. I am using the preset below. After bypassing all the effects block with the exception of the "FX LOOP" block which I need for routing.
I am getting a big gain and mid-frequency boost. It is only when I press the full unit bypass on the Axe FX does the signal return to normal.
The only active block when I am testing it is the "FX Loop" block and I have everything set to zero. What am I missing?
Any help or advise would be great.

set the bypass state to mute in the reverb block

Blocks in parallel routing will add gain if not muted on bypass or if not padded down when the block is on.

Yes if you didn't set the parallel reverb bypass state to mute effects in or out ,or mute in or out there will be ,I believe a +6 db boost!
