I'm catching up on the latest firmware for Axe-Edit and the Axe. Apologies if this has been explained, but I can't find an answer. Why do the tabs in Axe-Edit not match the tabs on the Axe? I like to use both and I would prefer consistency.
Just one example of the confusion:
On the Axe tabs -
The Speaker tab has "Speaker Compression" but NOT "Speaker Time Constant."
The Dynamics tab has "Speaker Compression" AND also "Speaker Time Constant."
I would think that a parameter called "Speaker Time Constant" would be on the Speaker tab. So one parameter is on two tabs and one that is related to the speaker is on the dynamics tab. The speaker tab on the Axe is a scrolling list, so I don't see why the Speaker Time Constant isn't on that tab.
And it gets more confusing when I switch to Axe-Edit:
On Axe-Edit neither "Speaker Compression" or "Speaker Time Constant" are on the Dynamics tab (doh!), but they are on the Speaker tab which makes sense. I can't follow the logic. On the Axe, speaker parameters have to do with Dynamics but on Edit they have nothing to do with Dynamics.
Also on the Axe Speaker tab "Transformer Drive" is last on the scrolling list, but it's NOT on the Power Amp tab. BUT "Transformer Drive" is NOT on the Speaker tab in Axe-Edit but it is on the Power Amp tab in Axe-Edit.
There are other examples.
