Axe-Edit issues with Logic Pro for AF3?

Hi all!

I'm (im)patiently awaiting my invite to buy an AF3 but I have a question.

I've noticed that Axe-Edit for the AF2 and Logic really don't work well together on OSX. Apparently this is known problem - which means that I can't edit my AF2 patches with Logic open. Which is a pain to be honest - it's irritating to the point that I've purchased Helix Native for use in that DAW. Has this issue been solved for axe-edit on the AF3?

I also have never had any trouble editing presets in Axe Edit while Logic Pro is open, with my II XL+ or my III.

Hmmm . . . I'm not having trouble now either after updating axe-edit. I could have sworn that there was a known bug about axe-edit and logic . . . but maybe I've lost my mind. I remember struggling with this a few months ago and eventually gave up.

Here's one of the threads - this was a hardware issue though - https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/axe-edit-and-logic-pro-x-issue.141486/

Here's another - https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/core-audio-issues-with-axe-edit-and-logic-pro-x.148098/

I may have been among the lucky ones. I believe they have tightened up the code in Axe Edit, but that could be erroneous. Anyways, I wouldn't stress it too much, as the current versions of FW and AE are working nicely, and hopefully it won't be long until you get that invite. Cheers, Lee
