FC plugged or unplugged doesn't change this.

Looks like maybe you have a hardware memory issue.

Looks like maybe you have a hardware memory issue.

I don't read French but it looks very familiar.

I'm pretty sure this is a typical problem with Adobe Acrobat.

If you check Task Manager you'll see one or more instances of Acrobat even though you have no open PDF files.

Kill them!

And the problem will go away... Until it happens again.

Acrobat on Win 10 sucks...

i don't think so, i'm on hp z workstation with 16Go of ram..

only one instance of acrobat reader running at a time.
i can open the other pdf files with no issue.
i suspect is more a Protected Mode protects when the windows open on the fly in AE.?

i'm curious to know if there are another users who have to same issue or not on a similar os config.

It doesn't matter how much memory you have or what brand it is. If a bit fails, you can't read from it. And the error message says that the system can't read from that location.

Yeah, this doesn't seem to be Acrobat's usual quirky bug.

I have that Acrobat Reader problem with Win 10 too, rebooting is the only solution that works

The next time that happens, use Task Manager to kill the Acrobat processes. After that, it should work fine without rebooting.

But that doesn't mean a hardware error. It's a memory address and more likely a software error.
If it can't read from a memory location, either the memory at that location is bad, or it's an illegal memory reference. I would think that would have larger ramifications, but maybe not.
