Current Axe-Fx III Firmware Version: 10.02

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  • Mac version requires OS version 10.7 or newer
  • Windows version requires Windows 7 or newer
  • Minimum firmware version 3.02

NEW IN THIS VERSION

* Added support for auto-update to download the Win32 installer.

* Added support for firmware 10.02
o Added "Wrecker Liverpool Bright" layout to the AMP block.

I get an error popup after finishing the installation. Tried the installation several times and allways this error.
But the Axe edit seems to work ok though.
Another thing happening: I also got a notification about not being able to overwrite releasenotes.pdf in the install location folder (so had to stop acrobat processes from task manager and go end delete the previous .pdf from the folder myself).

The PDF issue seems to be a common one. Acrobat on Windows 10 sucks!
 
I guess that's an issue that I had too.
When the last release notes are still open in a window it can't open the newest version. Close the old RNs before updating AE. That fixed it for me.

Acrobat often leaves "open" documents you can't even see - you have to go into Task Manager and kill the processes.

Yeah, this is a longstanding problem with Adobe Reader in Windows 10. I'm amazed that they haven't fixed this yet.
