Axe Edit for Ultra

For those of you with the Ultra. I have downloaded the proper AE for the Ultra. Now I can't get the Axe and computer to talk to each other. I'm using one of those USB to two midi male adapter. One midi plug says "IN" and the other says out. I've tried hooking the midi plugs both ways. The red USB led is lighting up but the midi ones are not. I've checked the midi setting and the midi in/out both say unavailable. Anyone have any ideae?

Your MIDI adapter isn't working correctly. If you're using one of those built-into-the-cable adapters and you paid an amazingly low price for it, those things are notoriously flaky. They've caused no end of headaches for Ultra users.

I've seen the issue come up many times on the forum. The only people who have reported success are the ones who have gotten rid of them and bought something else.
