Axe Edit 3 compatible with Axe 2?

Hi All. This is probably a dumb question but I searched forum and fractal website and could not find the answer.

I'm thinking of bringing my Axe 2 out of retirement for a buddy to use. Is Axe Edit 3 compatible with the Axe 2? Logic tells me it would be but I needed to be sure.

No, you need to use the version that was made for the Axe II: https://www.fractalaudio.com/axe-edit/

Axe-Edit 3 IS for the Axe Fx II.

The one for Axe Fx III is Axe-Edit III.
