Axe + Acoustic DI (Mesa Rosette)

Just saw the new preamp pedal from Mesa, the Rosette. Wondering how many here use Acoustic with the Axe Fx; do you just go direct thru the Axe as your DI or would you see any use in a product like the Rosette here. Redundant?

I use my old, trusty Pendulum Audio SPS-1 preamp. I've had it for many years. Best acoustic preamp I ever had. Been using it since 1989. That was like last century.

@Chewie5150 I plugged my new Taylor in for the first time yesterday and used the Tube Pre in the amp block and a nice big 1x8 speaker in the cab block, sounded fantastic. I tried a couple of different speaker cabs and that 1x8 sounded great but I need to play some more. Sounded really natural and there's plenty more scope for EQ'ing in the Axe. That with a bit of reverb (best reverb in the industry, as we know) and it really does sound great.

Incidentally, I plugged my new bass in for the first time too, and the Axe FX nailed that too. So all in all, the value of that unit, for me, just went through the roof! AMAZING piece of kit!
