AX8 with EV2 ~ How do I ...

Got my new EV-2 tonight. I am encountering a couple of things.

When I change from one preset, that contains a wah, to another preset that contains a wah when it goes to the second preset the wah is engaged and I get low nasal tone. I have to cycle the pedal once then it is ok. How do I make it off when I go to preset to preset?

Also I am trying to get it to auto engage when I press down but I hear a thump when engaged. I don't remember my EV1 doing this. Any tips?

Make sure you save the preset with the wah bypassed.

Then something else is also getting engaged. If you switch back to your EV-1, you'll hear the same thump.

Thanks Rex. I logged in to post an update that I discovered just what you said. I was saving wah preset engaged so it took 1 cycle to turn it off. I will try the EV-1. I have it hooked to my Ultra at rehearsal studio. That might also explain some of the reaction.
