I have not found any typos in the release notes. Whenever possible, we try to track the revision numbers to minimize confusion. In this case the AX8 received a small amp modeling modification before the Axe-FX.

Same Problem with my Axe.
Its great improved with the new functionalities. Please FAS fix this little "sticky problem".

first time it shows preset names in the bank, but after that it always goes two banks up or two banks down, each time you hit F2 or F3...

Edited to add: Cliff mentioned this past week that new factory preset banks are in beta for Axe-FX. Will AX8 banks also be getting an update?

I tried to update the other night, but I got a time-out error while backing up, so I have postponed the update to after tonight's gig. Also, I never really use any of the affected functions.

I'm getting a lock up where I'm using the large screen display and I turn on the tuner.
If I press a preset button instead of tapping the tuner button to turn it off, I lose all sound and have to turn the unit off to get it back.
