AX8 - randomly seems that a Wah is turning on for no reason

Hello,

I have an AX8 that I bought during pre order and have never updated the firmware. I just updated the firmware to 10.01 with fractal bot and now anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute after I swap presets, it seems like there is an open wah (high end) that gets turned on. Happens on every preset I have tried, ones I have made and factory presets. Also happens on every guitar and every cable I have tried. Some of the presets don't even have a wah block setup (was able to see in the editor since I finally updated the firmware).

Any help with trying to fix this would be great.
 
Check if your presets have a wah block on auto-engage. If you don't need the wah replace the block by a shunt. Otherwise re-calibrate your pedal inputs and/or increase the auto engage level of the wah blocks.
 
Or you can just turn the Auto-engage function off, then you have to use some other means to turn on the Wah (using scenes for example)
 
I had a similar problem with a bad TRS cable, but it sounds like you checked that. Could it be the expression pedal?
 
So this happens with presets without a Wah block as well?

Disconnect the pedal (if there’s one connected).

Replace the cables.

Perform a system reset (Utility).
