Ax8 Queations - Suitable recording Interface

Hey all,

I've had my axe ii for a while now and dont really use it to it's full potential so I'm thinking of selling it for the Ax8.

1. Does the cab block have all the settings of my axe ii?
2. Is there still out 1 and out 2 with global outs for both.
3. I'm worried about recording as this isn't included in the ax8. Can I record via the spdif out on the ax8 and if I can can you recommend an interface to do so that will do the job but not cost the earth.

Do we know the EU price for the Ax8 yet?

many cheap interface (100$) have Spdif IO, Even an old Fast Track will do

The cab block might not have ALL the settings, like Size. There is Main out and Fx Loop Send - which is like 1 and 2 on the Axe. I don't know what "global outs" means.

When recording using spdif you use the A/D-converter in the Ax8 which is high quality. So the interface as such only provides the USB-connection. So any SPDIF-interface will do.
