Here’s vid of a new original band I’m in - this is from our first show with 4 short rehearsals under our belt. AX8 direct to board and I had my ASM12 onstage for a monitor. I was actually quite happy with how my guitar came out - sound guy never ran a Fractal unit before so I asked him if he could start my gain on the board at 0 and flat EQ which he did (and was a really nice guy too). Out level on the AX8 to board was at 12 oclock.

It can be a challenge to get the sound guy (or girl) to leave the guitar input as is - no EQ, no compression, and no Reverb.

Thanks! Agree - if they haven’t worked with modelers, they typically want to run it like a mic’d cab.
