I bought me an AX8 and I am quite happy with the sounds. Unfortunately the device has a very noticeable flaw for me. If the gain of my scarlett audio interface is pretty high It gives out a static noise, which depends on the preset used. For clean presets it is barely noticeable, but for distorted ones it is quite annoying.
The second noise seems to go away, if I use XLR instead of the line out, but the first one is present, even without any cable plugged in the input
Is this a normal behaviour for the ax8 unit?
I thought, that AX8 should be silent, if the input is not used.
