AX8 Firmware 9.03 Released

Wee, I got my AX8 home a few days ago, but I have been holding back, since I thought this one was close.
 
Cool. Nothing planned for next few weeks - no waiting, already downloaded and running FracBot backup now. Thanks FAS!
 
Sweet. It'll have to wait to be opened until Xmas, as I have a show this Saturday ;-)

Is there a way to put firmware under the tree? Maybe on a thumb drive...
 
To those who updated already:
Did you have to tweak tones after update?

Tempted to update, but have a gig tomorrow.

I just updated my AX8 and ran through my presets here at home.

As tempting as it is to update immediately, never update before a gig.
It is usually some obscure function that gets you at a critical moment.
I have a party/jam session with friends where I use maybe about 5 presets with 2 or 3 scenes each.
It all sounds great at home through my home speakers however through my JBL EON 610s would be the ultimate test.
Not worried about it and since it's a party among musician buddies who are there to show off gear, I get to demonstrate the AX8 along side guys with Marshalls, Fenders, and I believe a JC120 with planks loaded with stompboxes.
I figure by the end of the year, one of them will be picking up an AX8...

Nice work and couldn't be happier.
 
I think these short release notes don't make justice to this FW, it's a definite improvement over 9.02.
I only tried it with headphones atm but all my patches sound better than ever without any tweak. More clarity and punch on the attack, loving it!
