AX8 Edit ability to swap presets

Yes, I know there are work-arounds; but being able to swap two presets directly would be really nice.

Not sure what you're asking, but if you use Axe-Manage Presets (under the Tools menu) you can directly swap preset locations. I don't remember which is the default but you can swap, copy, or move presets depending on whether or not you hold down the CTRL/Command/Alt keys.
