AX8 cab sim only on XLR out

Hi all,
I have a simple basic question that stops me before buying an AX8. I really like that unit and even if it may be discontinued I sincerely think it's a beast!
I would like to buy it (second hand) because it seems to be the perfect solution to have the best (after fm3) standalone pedalboard as well as a very great unit to wire it in a 4 cable method.

Now here comes the key point: can I set a cab block or some sort of "global" IR only on XLR output?
As I already said, I would like to use the AX8 with 4 cables method and also sending L + R to the FOH system.

Is it supported?

you should be able to do this separating output 1 and output 2 with no issue, but I do not think you can separate output 1 xlr from 1/4 output 1 jacks.
