this might be a good idea in all the *-edit software, but i only have an fx8, so posting here.
the *-edit software is designed with the assumption that the user will remember to pause it when they want to use the device, and will then un-pause the software when they want to tweak settings.
based on an informal scan of the forums, this is not how the users expect the software to work.
one solution would be to have the software "pause" itself when it detects no keyboard/mouse inputs over a programmable interval. experienced users could either extend the interval or disable the feature.
