Austin Buddy for Axe-Fx 3: starting point?

Hi, I just bought the AB naked tones for axe 3. Not sure the sequence to install, do you install/load the earlier versions and then the updates, or just go right for the updated version?

They are just presets. Each is self contained... Except for any using provided cabs, and then you need the additional IRs.

Follow Buddy's advice in the main thread. Use Fractool to load an empty bank into A, Fractal bank A into slot B, and Buddy's two banks into C & D. It's a good starting point.
Make sure to backup your other presets first.

His question was about whether or not he needed to load the "original" versions before loading the updated versions.

No - they are completely updated versions. You can load the new ones from scratch.

There are a few speaker cabs, and some FC layouts that you may want to consider, as well. Read the notes that come with the presets, which explain the cab slots these should be installed in, to work best "out-of-the-box.". These can be changed of, course, but may go unnoticed, if you don't read the notes. The presets that use those particular cabs may not work properly, w/o either loading those cabs, or changing them in the presets to ones you already have.
