Played a show tonight (Axe8), and suddenly my treble was gone. A typical Marshall patch that sounds mean and nasty suddenly sounded like a jazz guitar on the neck pickup. Switched to my backup guitar thinking the bridge pickup went out, but sound was the same.
Has anyone experienced this? I just sent an email to Tom at Atomic, but being it's 2am on a Saturday I'm not expecting a response before my show on Sunday. Checked craigslist NJ, eBay, and the for sale forum to buy a backup, but nothing is available. Tomorrow I plan to try tweaking my patches cranking the treble to see if it makes the sound usable, but obviously not the best solution. Any advice is greatly welcomed!
