Atomic CLR Heat sink

See the discolouration on the one monitor. Wondering if anyone has experienced this and if so, is this a problem? I haven't experienced any functional issues with this monitor yet but a bit concerned. Overheating? I just noticed this during my move this month.

I haven't noticed this on mine. Is it possible one was near a window and the coloring deterioted because of UV light?

Mines still dark black like the top one. Does the more red looking one feel any hotter to the touch than the other when in use? Might just be a different batch of anodizing dye or something.

yes it was actually. I had a thermal curtain over this large window as it let in so much heat. I thought that was a probable cause. I haven't noticed one being hotter than the other but will definitely keep a close eye on it
