Assigning increase/decrease volume to a foot switch

Hi!

I've recently read somewhere in this forum that some people here use two switches on the MFC as a volume controll to adjust the loudness level of a preset with other presets. It's practical to make quick adjustments on the run. I like the idea very much but couldn't find how to do it anywhere (maybe I've missed it somewhere).

Could maybe someone explain how to do it? Is it necessary to have a volume block or is it possible to assign the commands for preset level (output) or is there some better way?

Sorry I wasn't able to give you a step by step. It's been a long time since I set mine.
But it's really nothing more than setting your switches to a CC#.

You gave me a hint already. Now I know where to look for the CC# and I have an idea at least. Thanks.

That's a nice solution. I'm just a minimalist, want to have everything on the MFC + only one expression pedal.
