Assign reverb/delay hold to IA?

Just simply want to use one of the switches as a momentary switch to control a reverb/delay hold function. Any ideas?

1. Assign an Ext Ctrl as hold parameter modifier source

2. Configure general-use (Axe-FX function = none) IA on MFC to send 127/0 values for CC# of the chosen Ext Ctrl. Set IA to momentary style.
