So I started this thing with the goal being to use as many default patches as I could and just do a little sound experiment. I kind of pooped out a song in the process.
Sounds used:
Intro synthy guitar: Jump Gate Gtr
Heavy lead-in riff (begin 0:22): CAE3 + SE Lead
A-section clean (begin 0:32): Emerald Ocean
A-section lead (begin 0:42): ScoStern (This one is a mod based on the default patch Who's Next?) I posted it at the Axe Exchange @ Axe-Change - Download Preset - ScoStern - by MarkTiarra).
B-section riff & lead (begin: 1:13): Blues Aroncino
Solo (begin: 2:29): Tiarra AutoWah Lead is obviously one of my own patches. I use this for just about everything in my metal band and it worked quite nicely here too, me thinks.
In case it matters to anyone, I did the bass using a Sukop 5-string fretless, direct into Cubase with a CLA plug-in. The drums are programmed in EZ-Drummer and the organ sound smattered here and there comes from Kontact.
