Anyone having trouble with the ART SLA 2 (or 1 or 4) in terms of a loud hum? I know this is an active topic on here. I had the classic SLA 2 hum. MAKE SURE THE GROUND LIFT SWITCH ON THE AXE FX IS OFF!!! The power cord I received with the Axe-FX was a 2 prong cord. If you have the ground lift switch in the "on" position you are lifting the ground from the casing. I did this as ground lifts have always helped me with noisy gear in the past. Turns out that this does not help with the Axe-FX as it is already properly grounded. So before you open up your SLA-2 (I notice no one is recommending a grounding wrist band or whatever they are called) and tinker with the wires (Yes I had that one wire going under the transformer) make sure the Axe-FX Ground lift is turned OFF! Oh man, so much frustration and it was so simple....By the way the new firmware sounds AWESOME! :mrgreen:
