I run both FRFR and Poweramp + Cab. FRFR for FOH, and Poweramp + Cab for my backline.

78% FRFR to 22% Poweramp and Cabs says volumes. I still use cabinets but there is something to be said about dialing in what the audience hears using FRFR. Who are we playing for, us or them? Both maybe?

Both for sure but it goes so much further then that. Stage volumes are much friendlier, way easer for the sound tech to dial in FOH, Play to tracks that are mixed in with your monitor, wider aera of coverage, less weight that's a lot of benefits to the FR side of things.
