Are Jay Mitchell's far-field IRs downloadable from anywhere?

After much googling I have found about 5(?) of these... They sound great and most of my patches use them now. Does anyone know if there's a secret stash somewhere on the great computer in the sky??

True... but only 3 of them... and IMO they're not as good as a couple of others I've dug up. From reading the old forum I got the impression that there is a bunch more of them out there somewhere, including 4x12s :O

I hope Jay does put together a selection to sell.

Axe-Change had (has) some of Jays IRs. Here are the ones I think are Jay's:
Clean 2x12 on axis 6_0
Eminence Legend Off Axis Bright
Eminence Legend Off Axis Natural IR6_0
G12-65 NF Center Grille 6_xx
Gold NF Center Grille 6_xx
Gold+G12-65 30 degrees 6_0
Legend 1258 On Axis

How does that match up with your list?

Jay sent me one of his latest personal IRs recently. It is ridiculously good. He is considering putting a collection together and selling it online.

That would be fantastic if he did.

Yup they're the ones I have, plus one that was up for download here a little while back (no idea what the speakers are, but its sick!) That one, and the Gold+G12H-65 30 degrees are just magic.

Is Axe-Change online somewhere?

I would expect them to cost more than RW and OH because the process of capturing a FF IR is far more complex. I just hope that they do become available!

I thought the difference was 2048 as opposed to 1024...isnt that a bit of difference (quality, not compatibility...) am i off base?

My only advice would be try it and see if it sounds good to you.

If you do some searches you will find some threads on the merits / demerits of 2048 vs. 1024. I just use my ears.
