Apple camera connection kit and FM3 1.05

New here. Hopefully this isn’t a repeat question. I couldn’t find it.

Just tried using the smaller camera connection kit (the USB 1 one that doesn’t support a power supply) with an iPhone to play backing tracks through FM3. Music plays at the right pitch, etc, but stops working after a few seconds and then starts back up again. Seems like something is starved that is handling the data. Tried it with the built in music player as well as Anytune Pro+. Tried it with a blank FM3 preset so it isn’t a CPU usage problem.

Have others gotten this to work? Do I need the bigger USB 3 camera connection kit?

This was working for me on 1.04 with an off brand Lightning to USB camera adapter similar to the smaller one from Apple. I haven't had a chance to try it on 1.05 yet though. People have been reporting USB audio issues in 1.05 (and some had them in 1.04 too), so it's possible that it's a bug.
