I'm curious to hear if anyone is doing this and how they are routing things? I've come across some older threads but nothing recent. We only play with a couple different sound guys so not too worried about having to interface with random FOH systems and engineers. Currently our singers are using voice lives so it seems like it wouldn't be that much different to use the axe, other than not having a mic pre.
What about going direct to the board and then using an aux send to go back to the axe? It would be nice if the engineer retained mix control over fx like reverb and delay so one thought would be to return to the board via two different outs, run one at 100% mix for special fx (harmonies, etc), and let the engineer set the return level of the reverbs / delays in the other out.
Anyway would love to hear some comments if anyone is doing something like this. I will be selling my 2 soon but might be cool to keep it in the family if this works out.
