Hi,

A local music store is selling off some demoed RCF-gear - a couple of hundred bucks knocked off new price. They have the RCF ART 712-A and NXM10A at around $500 each. I can't find a lot of info on the 712-A here, and I don't have any experience with these sort of speakers for guitars. I'm going to be using them with my AX8 at rehearsals and as monitors at gigs later on. Would you get any of these? Pro's and con's? Which one would you get?

Hope you guys can help me out :)

So I gather. I suppose I can't go that wrong, really :) I see a lot of people like the Yamaha DXR12s too, and those are in the same price range. Perhaps they'll let me test them with an axe fx.

I have used the dxr 8 for just acoustic and they sounded very good. My guess is the dxr12 would be an excellent choice.
Whatever you decide, consider buying from mike Pyle at audiopyle. Nothing but positive exper in e dealing with mike.

NXM10A for around 500? Dive on that. Excellent deal.

The RCF 712's are going to be great, but the NX series is better.
I've never tried an RCF speaker I didn't like.

I currently gig with NXL24A's as my tops....just awesome.
