Anyone tried adding cab block in front?

There are no rules. Post an example if you get time or a little more detail about your patch.
 
Yeah just use your regular layout. If you have a spot open in front of everything, well i always have a compressor in front then right after it I was trying inserting a Santiago Echoplex ir cab block. It added a cool thick effect, so i tried some other ir's starting with the 1x6 oval. I'm kinda liking it. i am using the cali 4x12 always after the amp block, it isnt colored as alot of others so this may only work well with it. I was wondering how the German would sound in front and it is a bit much, too much color there, must be the accent lol. I havent really settled on one yet, but it's definitely another tool, and as Funeral said. there are no rules!! And ofcourse axedit is locking up quite a bit lately getting irs in the thing so i get frustrated.
Makes me wonder if by creating a TM match block of say a tele.. hmm so little time...
