Anybody popped the hood on an AX8?

Was reading about other products and it got me wondering what's going on inside the AX8. No mention of a battery in the AX8 manual when I did search of the .pdf file.

Would opening the case qualify as "Unathorized service" and void the warranty?

those were in reference to either a standard/UItra model... discontinued 3 yrs ago (IIRC).
I don't think you have much to worry about!

Fractal products use Flash Memory, so no need for a battery.

Most products haven't required a battery for quite some time now since the development of USB flash drives etc.

The "handle" is what prevents you from stomping on the knobs. Removing it would be a risky choice.

Maybe the knobs are super easy to replace. Could someone please take a look (and send pictures)?!

As mentioned earlier, is it possible for the support bar to be removed? Switches 6 and 7 aren't as easy to access. Not a big problem, and no big deal if it's difficult, just wanted to see if I had that option
