Any way to have MFC display Song names instead of preset name?

According to the manual, no, but I thought some enterprising lad or lass here may have a work-around.

What works for me is to rename the Preset to the approprite song using either Axe Edit or the Front Panel of the Axe-FX.
 
Yeah, I do that as well. Just have a hired gun gig this week and am using a couple of the same presets for multiple songs (over a 30 song set) but also have "special" presets for certain tunes. Being able to display song titles would be really helpful- guess I'll head over to the "wishes were fishes" area and throw a penny in the pond...
 
If I read it correctly in the mfc manual (fw version 2.15/page 47) this is possible in song mode.
 
Copy your Songs Preset to a new location, rename the copied to the second song name, and away you go. Two different Songs, with the same settings. Easy!
 
Thanks, guys. I did the old tried and true "copy the preset and rename game"- with AE3 it took only minutes compared to the FP.
